Delete your MechMatch data

MechMatch has no accounts. Your favorites are stored on your device, with a copy kept on our servers under a random identifier for that installation. See our Privacy Policy for details. In the app, you can find these policies under Settings → Privacy and data.

Remove data from a device

1. While connected, open MechMatch Settings and turn off Notifications and Live Updates before deleting the app or clearing site data. This removes delivery tokens from our servers and ends followed Live Activities. If the device is offline, reconnect with the app open so pending changes can sync. Browser users can choose Disable notifications on the website.
2. Clear mechmatch.app site data in your browser. If you added MechMatch to your Home Screen or installed the app, delete it.

This removes your favorites and the device identifier from that device. The server copy of your favorites, and any notification settings you did not turn off, is scheduled for automatic deletion after 180 days without further updates, because the device stops checking in. Deletion is asynchronous and may take additional time after expiry.

Email support@mechmatch.app. Because MechMatch does not associate installation records with names or contact details, we usually cannot identify which server records belong to you. Hosting logs and backups follow the service providers' retention processes.
